The Hope System today

ANDREW GRAHAM-STEWART'S book, The Salmon Rivers of the North Highlands and Outer Hebrides, was published in early 2005, and sold out within a few months. Mysteriously, his publishers have (so far at least) failed to reprint. So buy it at once if you can find a copy at a reasonable price.

Meanwhile, he has kindly allowed us to include his chapter about the Hope System today.

What can be done about the EU?

The EU's lamentable failure to control its fishing industry, and the consequent destruction of the marine environment, is just one of the themes in Charles Clover's book "THE END OF THE LINE", published in 2005, and made into a film in 2009.
